Cooperative Solar

Located in Clark County, Kentucky, East Kentucky Power’s(EKPC) Cooperative Solar Project provides 10MWdc of solar energy to its members. The project went live in October 2017. East Kentucky Power Cooperative is a Generation and Transmission (G&T) Cooperative, consisting of 16 distribution member cooperatives located in Central and Eastern Kentucky.

NRCO assisted by facilitating the design and construction of the facility, and helped evaluate financing options, and ultimately used Clean Renewable Energy Bonds (CREBs) to finance the project

Beltrami’s Northern Solar

Located in Bemidji, Minnesota, Beltrami’s Northern Solar Project provides 79.2kWdc of solar energy. The project went live in August 2017. Beltrami Electric Cooperative, a distribution cooperative, owns and manages the site through a community solar program open to its members.

NRCO was hired as the development project manager to oversee all development and EPC aspects of the project, including coordination of tax equity financing.

Tideland II Community Solar Project

Located in Pinetown North Carolina, the Tideland Community Solar Project provides 114kW of solar energy. The project went live in October 2015. Tideland EMC, a distribution cooperative of NRCO Member NCEMC, owns and manages the site through a community solar program open to its members.

Surry Yadkin II

Located in Dobson, North Carolina, the Surry Yadkin II Community Solar Project provides 115.2kWdc of solar energy. The project went live in October 2015. Surry Yadkin EMC, a distribution cooperative of NRCO Member NCEMC, owns and manages the site through a community solar program open to its members.

PPS – Spoon River LLC

In August 2014, NRCO helped PPI Cooperative complete a 636.12dc kW community solar farm, located in Springfield, Illinois. PPI Electric Cooperative owns and manages the site through a community solar program open to its members.

Tri-County Community Solar Project

In August 2014, NRCO helped MiEnergy Cooperative complete a 73.8 kW community solar farm, located in Rushford, Minnesota. MiEnergy Electric Cooperative owns and manages the site through a community solar program open to its members. You can find more information here.

Jo-Carroll Community Solar Project

Located in Avon Indiana, the Hendricks community solar farm provides 39.36 kW of solar energy. The project went live in August 2014. Hendricks Power Cooperative owns and manages the site through a community solar program open to its members. You can find more information here.
