Todd Bartling

Todd Bartling is the vice president of Renewables Development for the National Renewables Cooperative Organization (NRCO). Bartling joined NRCO in March 2009. In his current role, he is responsible for the development, project structuring, financial valuation, risk assessment, deal negotiation and origination, and ongoing asset management of renewable projects for NRCO members.

Prior to joining NRCO, Bartling held the position of director of Member-Client Services and director of Structuring from 2007 to 2009 at ACES. His responsibilities included assisting utilities and independent power producers in managing their resources and loads in the wholesale markets, analyzing power and natural gas hedging strategies, and valuing generation assets. Bartling also started the financial transmission rights analysis function at ACES, which now resides in the Transmission department.

Prior to working in the energy industry, Bartling worked in both IT consulting and investment banking, where he was responsible for the analysis of the bank’s $11 billion fixed-income portfolio.

Todd is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
