Michael Keyser

Mr. Keyser has nearly 20 years of experience in the electric utility industry.  As CEO of NRCO, Mr. Keyser leads a team of renewables developers and analysts who provide market intelligence and project origination services to NRCO’s members, as well as various customers.  Prior to NRCO, Mike spent 11 years as CEO of BARC Electric Cooperative in Virginia.  He also spent five years in American Samoa as CEO and General Counsel of the American Samoa Power Authority.  Mr. Keyser holds a bachelor's degree in business from Washington State University, a law degree from Seattle University School of Law, and a black belt in Lean Six Sigma from Virginia Tech.
