Located in Hatteras, North Carolina, the Cape Hatteras Community Solar Project provides 52.7w kW of solar energy. The project went live in November 2015. Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative, a distribution cooperative of NRCO Member NCEMC, owns and manages the site through a community solar program open to its members. NRCO was hired as the development project manager to oversee all development and EPC aspects of the project, including coordination of tax equity financing.
